Based on the initiative of Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF), DE-CIX has launched the global Interconnection Academy, a pioneering collaboration designed to set a new standard for excellence in interconnection education. The Academy is designed to provide professionals with comprehensive technical, operational and business knowledge, equipping them with the skills they need to thrive in the fast-paced world of interconnection. Whether you are an experienced professional looking to improve your skills or a student wanting to learn from the best, you are welcome at the Interconnection Academy.

For future growth of the Interconnection Academy, we are looking with immediate effect for a motivated

• At least five years of experience in the interconnection industry (Sales or Marketing), ideally in combination with initial exposure to the academic world as a networking pro and speaker or even as a manager of a comparable academy

• Excellent communication skills in at least two languages (English and Spanish), negotiation skills and the talent to lead different stakeholders to joint success

• The ability to bring to market complex technical contexts for a broad audience and a strong passion for innovative digital educational offerings

• The opportunity to shape and develop the further growth of the Global Interconnection Academy

• By fostering your network you will manage and expand our community of Interconnection experts, stakeholders from the industry and content providers for our Expert trainings on the functions of the Internet

• You will benefit from these connections to develop and implement marketing strategies for the success of our Academy and to market out trainings and certification programs worldwide
